David A. White is the founding member and managing partner of Daedalus Law PLLC. He has extensive experience in general corporate matters, particularly acquisition transactions, private offerings and corporate governance. He has previously represented several large and middle-market asset managers in successfully and swiftly negotiating complex deals with sophisticated counterparties. Currently his practice focuses on supporting the general counsels of private equity funds, venture capital firms, banks and other financial clients, particularly in connection with their repeat, high-volume contracts.
David received his J.D. from Columbia Law School in New York, where he served as co-president of the Columbia Society of International Law and Staff Editor of the Columbia Business Law Review. He earned his B.S. (finance concentration) from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. He began his legal practice at Schulte Roth & Zabel, an AmLaw 200 firm, before joining Sterlington, PLLC, a boutique, full-service law firm, as a founding attorney hire and ultimately serving as its President. He is a member of the State Bar of New York.
David is focused on project management and the integration of technology into legal practice, and routinely works with clients to develop and streamline their contract negotiation processes and management systems. David’s mission, and that of Daedalus Law, is to empower attorneys to deliver consistent, high quality work product on predictable timeframes, while providing a collegial, enjoyable work environment that maximizes attorney flexibility and minimizes turnover.
